Nepal & Tibet.Thanka are hang in the shrines of monasteries & private home as religious teaching materials & decoration.

Introduction
The word "Thanka" is believed to have come from the Tibetan word "thang yig" means written record.

Production

Thankas are generally painted on cotton cloth or paper with natural (stone / vegetable ) & artificial (chemical) colours, while gold & silver painted thankas are very standerd & expensive. Most of our thankas are  fine quality and painted by  monks in monasteries in Nepal.
